Best Stroller For Disney: Single Rider (Original Data)
If you’re a parent of small children or even medium sized children, having the best stroller at Disney can be essential. If you’re one of those special parents whose kids can walk 10+ miles without complaining, then this may not be the article for you. In order to find the best strollers for Disney World, I polled for hundreds of suggestions on Facebook groups (many “suggestions” were unhelpful bragging that their kids didn’t need a stroller), compared that to Amazon reviews, analyzed the features of the top strollers, and finished it off my with personal experience with the strollers that my three kids have used. The answer is…complicated. It really depends on which features you prefer, how large your children are, and how much you care about the size and weight of the stroller. Finally, the price point might be important, too, right? So below I’ve prepared a list of the best strollers for different situations that will make your trip to Disneyland, Disney World, or any other large outdoor area much more magical for you and your little Mouseketeers.
Before we start, remember that Disney has strict stroller size guidelines. They must be equal to or less than 31” wide and 52” long.
That shouldn’t be a problem when picking a single stroller, but just in case you were trying to bring in your own personal parade float for your little one, I thought I’d let you know. Also, no wagons even if they fit the specifications—I think because they are hard to park.

BEST All-Around Stroller for Disney
BEST Stroller for Large Kids at Disney
BEST Jogging Stroller for Disney
BOB Gear Revolution Flex 3.0 Jogging Stroller (59 Facebook votes)
Specs:
Max Recommended Weight: 75 lbs
Max Recommended Height: 44”
Dimensions: L46” W25” H45”
Stroller Weight: 28.5 lbs.
Seat Width: 14.5”
Tire Material: Pneumatic Rubber (inflated)
Amazon Rating: 4.8 Stars
With 47% of the vote from all Facebook responders across multiple Facebook groups and posts, the BOB Revolution is overwhelmingly the most popular stroller for Disney World. It has tons of storage of space. The large, pneumatic tires (tires with air in the them) make handling the train tracks at Magic Kingdom a piece of cake. My kids love the smooth ride. The stroller is also designed to go extremely fast. Once I lock the front wheel in place and put the safety strap on my wrist, I can literally sprint from our last ride to the dinner reservation we’re about to miss.
I was happy to put this stroller at the top of the list because we have had ours for 9 years. The seat is so spacious that I’ve put all three kids in it (at the same time). My 7 year old sat in the seat holding the infant, and my 4’6” 9 year old sat on the foot rest all the way back to car. It comfortably navigated the park with 150 lbs of my children in the stroller (plus supplies, including a case of water). With so many votes and the highest Amazon score, it seems that plenty of other people agree with how awesome it is. There are, however, a few downsides. The weight and wheel size make this stroller the hardest one to fold for the buses at Disney. It’s also a two-hand, two-step fold that makes it more difficult. However, the stroller folds forward instead of backward putting the basket on the outside, which allows me to leave more supplies in the stroller while it’s folded.
This is the ideal stroller for rental or for long-term owning. I don’t recommend purchasing this stroller if your child only needs it at Disney unless you plan to go frequently. I will probably still be using this stroller as a shopping cart and walker long after my kids are grown. The Bob Revolution is definitely the best big kid stroller.
Pros:
-comfortable, even for large kids
-large storage
-rides smooth, rides fast
-durable
-all terrain version has waterproof canopy
Cons:
-heavy, with large wheels
-more difficult to fold
-pnuematic tires sometimes have to be inflated (can do this at stroller rental)
-expensive
RUNNER-UP Best All-Around Stroller for Disney
BEST Rental For Disney World
Baby Jogger Citi Mini GT (37 votes)
Max Recommended Weight: 65 lbs
Max Recommended Height: 44”
Dimensions: L41.3” W25.6” H43.1”
Stroller Weight: 22.4
Tire Material: hard rubber
Amazon Rating: 4.7 stars
The only stroller that can compete with the popularity of the BOB is the Baby Jogger Citi Mini GT (in fact the Citi Mini Double outranks the BOB double). This stroller is extremely comfortable, comes with lots of features and storage, and folds with one hand. It has hard rubber wheels that are slightly larger than a typical stroller but much smaller than the BOBs. Therefore, it can’t achieve desperate parent speeds as well and is not as smooth of a ride, but many, MANY parents swear by it. We rented one at Disney, and our kids loved it. It is 5 pounds lighter, easier to fold (as I mentioned), and takes up less room when folded. It can handle large kids and lots of supplies, but not to the absurd proportions of the BOB. It is also slightly more reasonably priced.
This is probably the most common rental stroller at Disney World and is a great choice for someone who wants the bells and whistles but not quite so much work to get on and off the bus. It doesn’t have the spacious footrest like the BOB, so larger kids’ feet will dangle off the side. I recommend it as the best rental over the BOB because it’s easier to understand how to fold it. I don’t want to waste time on a rental learning a complicated folding process.
Note: While there are differences between the City Mini GT and GT2, I combined all of their votes because I see them as trim packages for the same stroller. Also, if I separated the votes, none of them would win on their own, but they received so many votes collectively that I felt they deserved this top spot. Finally, I’m not sure that people recommending it always knew there was a difference, especially if they only rented it. Often people recommended City Mini without specifying which.
Pros (especially compared to BOB):
-easily foldable and storable
-lots of space and storage
-great wheels
-durable
-lighter than BOB
Cons (compared to BOB):
-lower top speed
-lower weight capacity (but still high)
-awkward crossbar blocking storage
-small footrest that only fits heel
BEST Stroller for Infants and Toddlers at Disney
Uppababy Vista V2
Max Recommended Weight: 50 lbs.
Dimensions: L36 W25.7 H39.5
Stroller Weight: 27 lbs
Amazon Rating: 4.8 Stars
While this stroller doesn’t have the child capacity of the two top strollers, if your littles are REALLY little this might be the stroller for you. It comes with an optional bassinet that has incredible sun coverage for infants. It also has the best storage size and access design I’ve seen on any stroller. The wheels aren’t inflated, but they are large enough to handle everything but the train tracks on Main Street. It’s also one of the fanciest strollers with it’s leather handles and child safety bars.
The downside of this stroller is the price tag. It’s significantly more expensive because of the included bassinet. However, if you’re starting out with a newborn then want to transition to a toddler, then this is a good option. It also has the capacity to add a second seat (front to back), so it’s a stroller that can grow with your family. It even has an optional extra attachment for a standing child to get you to 3 kids.
Pros:
-fancy looking
-great sun coverage, especially the bassinet
-extremely high reviews
-STORAGE!!!!!
Cons:
-lower weight capacity per seat
-extremely expensive
-not great for taller kids
BEST Economy Jogging Stroller
Joovy Zoom360
Max Recommended Weight: 75 lbs.
Dimensions: L54” W25” H46”
Stroller Weight: 26.25 lbs.
Tire Material: Pneumatic Tires
Amazon Rating: 4.5 Stars
The Joovy 360 Zoom is the stroller you want if you want a jogging stroller similar to the BOB but don’t want to fork out the BOB prices. It has a very similar design with the three pneumatic (inflatable) tires. Most users agree that it handles well even at a high jogging speeds. Some users prefer this stroller to the BOB because the handle is higher, allowing for better jogging posture. At Disney, that means that your back hurts less after pushing it all day.
However, you get what you pay for. The Joovy has less storage, lower ratings, and less durable material. The footrest is less spacious, and the canopy is shorter than the BOB. That being said, this is a great choice if your looking for a good jogging stroller but want to save $100-200.
Pros:
-good top speed
-cheaper than BOB
-good for larger kids
-tall handle
Cons:
-less storage
-lower ratings
-awkward canopy design sits on taller kids’ heads
BEST Cheap Stroller For Disney
BEST Stroller For an Airplane for Disney
BEST Stroller for Disney Cruise
Kolcraft Cloud Plus
Max Recommended Weight: 50 lbs.
Dimensions: L29.9” W17.6” H41.7”
Stroller Weight: 11.8
Amazon Rating: 4.5 stars
If you’re looking for a quick grab stroller, or you’re trying to shove a stroller in an overhead compartment, this is your stroller. It’s lightweight, and it rolls. It usually costs less than $100. We bought one on the way to a Disney Cruise because our strollers were too large for that, and we love it. One of the greatest benefits is that it comes with a built-in snack tray with cup holder.
The downsides should be obvious. It has less storage than a larger stroller. I haven’t broken it yet, but it doesn’t seem as durable as the far more expensive ones. It certainly can’t handle distance and speed like our BOB. It’s not customizable with attachments for car seats, bags, or sit and stand options. When we go to Disney World, we’re still taking our BOB, but if we didn’t have that, the Kolcraft would be in the trunk (or in the overhead compartment). And it’s our go-to for Disney Cruises for the narrow hallways. It’s basically a tricked-out umbrella stroller with storage and a snack tray.
Pros:
-inexpensive
-comes with a snack tray and parent cupholders
-more storage than an umbrella stroller
-better handling than an umbrella stroller
Cons:
-not very sturdy
-not for large kids
-small wheels limit handling
-limited storage
Conclusion
My goal here is to provide you with the best options for single rider strollers in Disney World. Ideally, you’re looking for comfort, storage, durability, and size. Of course, price is always important as well. I picked the ones that I thought would be the most useful for you not just based on the votes, but also from my experience, Amazon ratings, and specific needs that they address (price, infant, etc.). But here’s the entire list of recommendations (votes) I could find across several Facebook posts in several different groups (to limit duplicate responses).
A couple more things about strollers. Disney Parks require far more walking than the average human is used to, and often in extreme weather conditions. Don’t be surprised if older kids who haven’t ridden in years suddenly want to be in it. Strollers are also useful for storage, shopping, and parade/fireworks spot reserving even if your kids aren’t using it. Finally, in stroller parking, cast members will organize the strollers, often moving your stroller several rows. Mark it well, so it’s easy to find (flag, colorful sign, balloon). If you’ve finished all of this and realized you want a double stroller instead, here’s where you can find the best double stroller for Disney world.
